A new retail development
is coming to Granite City, Illinois. Located 10 minutes from downtown St. Louis in central MadisonCounty, - 2 minutes south of I-270, or 5
minutes north of the recently opened McKinleyBridge, -GatewayVillage is being developed by Quadrant
Properties.Quadrant Properties,
headquartered in St. Louis, MO has purchased 36 acres along the
west side of Route #3 for retail development in Granite
City.
Gateway
Village, which will be on the west side of Route 3, just south of Interstate
270, is expected to include a mix of retail, entertainment and dining options,
as well as a bank branch. Quadrant has committed to making $7 million in
infrastructure improvements at the Granite City site. Site
work is expected to begin in July with the first businesses opening in 2009.
